Joe Grado is a polymath in the music world, able to tackle any genre with ease. The New Yorker’s musical journey began as a DJ, spinning hip hop and house, before teaching himself piano and guitar and delving into rock. An audio engineer by trade, Grado honed his skills during internships at NYC recording studios.

With a Bachelor’s in Music from the College of Staten Island, Grado’s musical knowledge encompasses classical, jazz, and beyond. As a skilled piano and guitar instructor, he’s taught both kids and adults, in-person and virtually, and boasts a long history in the music industry. But Grado’s musical talent isn’t the only feather in his cap: he’s also a respiratory therapist, using his medical experience to fuel personal growth in his music and life.

Growing up with a love for movies and TV, Grado’s dream to fuse music and film eventually led to a desire to become a famous film composer. Joe Grado is the epitome of a musical Renaissance man, and we can’t wait to see what he does next.
